Little hands books for babies

A four-in-one set of colorful board books designed to boost children's vocabulary skills and encourage them to read

Little Hands Books for Babies is a series of board books specially designed to promote and nurture reading from early childhood. With a focus on vocabulary building and reading for enjoyment, the stories are accompanied by rich, brightly colored illustrations that will capture a child's attention and imagination.

The four books included in this set are Go , which features transportation methods, counting, and sounds; I Love Bananas, which highlights foods and variety; Let's Get Ready , which focuses on getting dressed, preparing for the day, and counting; and Play with Me , which introduces children to colors and the concepts of choice and play.

Marna Hattingh is an artist and book illustrator whose drawings and paintings have been exhibited throughout South Africa. Carole Bloch has been the director of the Project for the Study of Alternative Education in South Africa, based out of the University of Cape Town, for more than two decades. She is the author of several books for children and is a cofounder and trustee of the Little Hands Trust, which promotes and supports the development of children’s literature in Africa. Zukiswa Wanner is a South African journalist and novelist. Her novels include Men of the South, which was shortlisted for a Commonwealth Writers’ Prize. She has contributed to publications such as Elle, Forbes Africa, the Guardian, the Mail & Guardian, the New Statesman, and the Sunday Times, among others. She is also a founding member of ReadSA, a campaign that encourages South Africans to read South African works.
