I was born in Cardiff, but now live in the beautiful Valleys of South Wales. I am a performance poet and a member of ’The Red Poets.’ I am an avid walker and I am lucky to live within walking distance of Gelligaer common, it overlooks Mynyddislwyn and the Rhymney Valley. Walking is therapeutic for me, it gives me inspiration for my poetry. I have walked the Pembrokeshire coast, Gower, Somerset, Devonshire and Cornish coast. I have also walked Snowdon, part of Offa’s Dyke, Pen y Fan, Black mountains, Brecon Beacons, part of Donegal and County Antrim. I have cycled the length of the Taff Trail 3 times. Most of all I like being with nature, nature is what I call my god it soothes my soul. I am a avid reader of books, I do not watch television, I enjoy the radio more. I write every day, a line of a poem or prose, or just an email, writing relaxes me. I recently returned from a walking holiday in The Pyrenees, walking from St Jean to Pamplona. I walked 46 miles over three days alone, with just my back pack for company. I love to take photographs of nature when I am walking and I recently set up a blog to share my images and experiences.
